Level 1 Intensive
Experience Yoga Studios is pleased to offer this inspiring Level 1
Intensive/Yoga Teacher Training with Bobbi Johnson. This training is
designed for students interested in teaching or simply deepening their own
practice. Our level 1 intensive will provide those students the ability to
teach Beginner Yoga with the knowledge of basic yoga poses. This program will be 30
hours with classes held Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Upon
completion of the intensive, you will receive a certificate from Experience
Yoga Studios. Class size is limited so please register to reserve your
space.
This introductory
intensive will provide you with a strong foundation to practice, observe,
and teach the following:

Centering and Warm-ups
·
Sun Salutations
·
Basic Standing Poses
·
Basic Balancing Poses
·
Simple Backbends
·
Forward Bends
·
Basic Twists
·
Shoulder Stance
·
Shavasana
This training also
includes:
·
Discussion of modifications and
sequencing
·
How to begin and end a class
·
How to use voice, language,
hands-on assisting
·
Suggested reading list to
further insight
·
Practice teaching and assisting
among the group
·
Feedback and homework
·
Basic yoga teaching of
philosophy
·
Anatomy and Physiology
·
Pranayama
·
Practice and personal journal
writing
·
6 yoga classes to be taken
before end of program included in the training fee.
Requirements:
·
6 months minimum of yoga
practice
·
You are required to be fully
present at all training sessions. 100% attendance is required; however, private make-up
classes (one make-up class per
student) will be available for an addtional cost of $100 per class.
·
Completion of online application
is required.
Cost is $595. To hold your space a non-refundable $150 deposit is required.
If you are not accepted into the program your deposit will be
refunded.

The intention of deepening your
own yoga practice while assisting future students in doing the same.
Upon
completion of this 30 hr. intensive you will be qualified to teach a
Beginner’s Hatha Yoga Class. The EYS-Level 1 Intensive program is in no way
affiliated with Yoga Alliance.
