Swedish
A full-body massage using long, gliding stokes of moderate pressure.
This technique is more generalized than deep tissue, the goal being
improved circulation and relaxation rather than specific muscle tension.
You will leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.
Deep Tissue
A focused session that targets your particular area of tension and
strain using moderate pressure appropriate to your comfort level. This
technique is not forced or painful but rather works around and through
specific structures to access the deeper layers of musculature. A Deep
Tissue session is not a full-body treatment. Examples of popular Deep
Tissue sessions include The Back, The Neck and Shoulders, The Forearm or
The Feet.
Myofascial
Integration
A slow, mindful approach using light to deep pressure appropriate to
your comfort level and determined by the response of your tissue. The
goal of Myofascial Integration is to relieve areas of binding and
constriction within your fascia, the connective tissue that runs through
and around every structure of your body. This technique is ideal for
those interested in improved posture and a sense of connectedness with
the body.
Pregnancy
Massage
A tailored session that uses Swedish and Myofascial Integration to
safely relieve any discomforts of your changing body. Please bring
written permission from your doctor; massage during gestation is for
women experiencing a normal pregnancy.
Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork using acupressure and stretches
to balance the energy of the body. It activates the body's self-healing
ability and strengthens the immune system. Shiatsu is energizing, yet
deeply relaxing. (No massage oil is used in this treatment and shiatsu
is performed with the recipient wearing loose comfortable clothing).
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that
also promotes healing.
It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an
unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be
alive. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and
spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and
feelings of peace, security and well-being.
*Hot Stone
Massage
During this exotic specialty treatment, heated polished stones are used
to help tight muscles relax. Tension melts as the stones are massaged
along the muscles to create a deep feeling of peacefulness and
relaxation.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture
is an ancient system of healing, practiced in China and other Eastern
countries for thousands of years, where it has been used to restore and
maintain health and well-being. This treatment modality involves fine
needles inserted into particular points on the “meridians” of Qi
(channels of energy in the body). This is believed to have
neurophysiologic effects which decrease pain and promote healing by
balancing Qi. Acupuncture can be used to treat a
wide range of conditions from chronic fatigue and stress-related
syndromes, to high blood pressure, migraines, skin disorders, irritable
bowel syndrome, depression, PMS, facial toning, scars and allergies, as
